Brief Profile

The Precious Foundation for Women, Children, and Adolescents (PFWA) is a non-governmental organization headquartered in Nigeria. Founded in 2024, PFWA is dedicated to addressing the healthcare, educational, and social needs of women, children, and adolescents. Our organization is committed to supporting our target demographic through preventive health education, the provision of essential medical supplies, and charitable donations. Additionally, we strive to bridge knowledge gaps by offering educational training and capacity enhancement programs to those in need, utilizing our platform for outreach and impact.


AIMS


1. Healthcare Access: To improve access to essential healthcare services for women, children, and adolescents in underserved communities.
2. Empowerment: To empower women, children, and adolescents through education, skill-building, and access to resources, enabling them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
3. Community Engagement: To actively engage with local communities, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to address health disparities and promote sustainable solutions.
4. Preventive Care: To emphasize preventive healthcare measures through health education, screenings, vaccinations, and nutritional support, aiming to reduce the burden of preventable diseases.
5. Holistic Support: To provide holistic support that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of women, children, and adolescents, fostering overall well-being and resilience.



OBJECTIVES

1. Medical Outreach: To conduct regular medical outreach programs that provide free healthcare services, including consultations, screenings and treatment, targeting women, children, and adolescents in need.
2.Charitable Donations: To distribute charitable donations such as hygiene kits, baby essentials, nutritional supplements, and educational materials, ensuring that vulnerable individuals have access to essential resources for their health and hygiene needs.
3. Health Education: To organize health education workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on topics including reproductive health, maternal care, child nutrition, hygiene practices, mental health, and substance abuse prevention, tailored to the specific needs of women, children, and adolescents.
4. Capacity Building: To offer capacity-building programs and skills training initiatives for women, adolescents, and community health workers, empowering them to play active roles in promoting health and well-being within their communities.
5. Advocacy: To advocate for policies and programs that address the unique healthcare challenges faced by women, children, and adolescents, advocating for equitable access to healthcare, education, and resources.
